Eyelash Extensions: Yay or Nay?

This subject is probably not new to you, but I’m just really interested in your guys’ opinion and maybe experiences? A lot of my friends both in Denmark and in US are using this service, and I must admit I’m a little hooked. It rarely happens that I wear mascara, I mean of course when I go out and dress up, but normally I just use an eyelash-curler. When I use mascara I feel like its dusting off and it never really looks like the way I want it to. I’m very satisfied with the length of my lashes, but I just feel like they’re too light and not very thick. . I really want to try a natural set of lashes, and see how it would be.
I’m just a little afraid of what to pick? Is it bad to pick a cheaper place? How are your lashes going to be after? Will it look weird considering I never really wear make-up on weekdays?

And if you guys have recommendable places both in DK and here in Portland please let me know!
